Lindsay was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, then moved to New York City for university. She received her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from The New School and her Master's in Teaching from Pace University. She was a New York City Teaching Fellow and worked with children and adolescents as a Special Education teacher in the Bronx, NY before moving to Costa Rica. At Intercultura, Lindsay completed her Spanish studies before joining our staff in 2008 as our Yoga teacher, Teen Spanish Chaperone and Children's Tutor.  She is fluent in English & Spanish, and in her free time enjoys yoga, travel, dance, singing and exploring Latin American culture. She received her yoga teacher certification from the Marianne Wells Samasati Program in Costa Rica.
