Universiteitskrediet

Intercultura bied opties voor universiteitskredieten aan voor verschillende uitwisselingsprogrammas voor groepen zoals deze van de University of Washington, Montana State University, UNC, Duke University( programma met de Organization for Tropical Studies), Austin College, Flagler College, Colège de Maisonneuve, en andere.

Als je alleen reist, zijn er ook vele universiteiten van andere landen die je van kredieten zullen voorzien als je op voorhand plannen maakt. Als je ons je plannen laat weten sturen wij je de curriculumomschrijvingen en andere nodige informatie zodat je het departementshoofd kan ontmoeten en het programma kan opstellen, naargelang de vereisten van de universiteit. De optie van directe kredieten is de meest economische optie, en wij zijn blij je te voorzien van de nodige informatie om je te helpen je verblijf te organiseren. Aan het einde van je studies zullen wij je ook voorzien, op verzoek, van een gedetailleerd transcript van je werk dat je meeneemt naar je universiteit. Er is een 10$ kost voor studenten met directe kredieten.

Indien je dit verkiest, kan je je ook aanmelden voor Transfer Kredieten, tegen additionele kosten,  door een van onze geassocieerde US universiteiten (zie contactinfo op het einde van deze pagina). Studenten die ten minste 3 weken groepslessen volgen te Intercultura kunnen in aanmerking komen voor 3 academische transfer kredieten, en deze die 5 weken blijven kunnen 6 kredieten ontvangen. Studenten moeten de additionele kosten direct regelen in hun universiteit.

Frequently Asked Questions from Students

• Question: What are the advantages of getting transfer credit from an accredited U.S. university?
• Answer: Colleges and universities often grant transfer credit easier for grades received on an official transcript from an accredited U.S. university.

• Question: Would there ever be a reason why my college or university would not accept transfer credits from an accredited U.S. university?
• Answer: The requirements for receiving transfer credit vary amongst colleges and universities. Often, transfer credit that cannot be granted to fulfill major or minor requirements can be granted to fulfill elective and total number of hour requirements. Students should consult their academic advisor for assistance. Students should not seek transfer credit for a class that they have already taken or that is similar in content. For example, if you have taken a Beginning Spanish I course at your college or university, you probably cannot receive transfer credit for Elementary Spanish I.

• Question: How soon will my university or college receive my grades?
• Answer: An official transcript is sent to the college or university office that is designated by the student 4-6 weeks after the close of the academic session.

• Answer: You may receive credit for the following courses:
